This work explores the hidden meanings in children's toys. The domestic objects and adult themes being disguised as 'toys' through bright colours and patterns are brought out when the object is made blank and white, revealing the true nature of the toys. Amelia explores how early childhood play and learning shape our understanding of the world from birth, and influence ideals and stereotypes about how how people should be and think.
